Spring
Finally spring has arrived, at least according to the calendar!

My right knee has recovered after I stopped running. Instead I regularly train fitness, and slowly increase the weight. On the other hand I don't see much physical change. :-(
As spring is coming, I better start biking.

The studies are also progressing... slowly.

Corsetwise, the news seems to have slowed down. Or perhaps it is just me that has focus elsewhere. :-)

iGot an iPod
Got a new toy this week-end - an iPod. The 30 Gb version with video. Cute little toy, and nice to have a good big selection of my music collection in one place.

I only had had it for about an hour or so, before it locked up, and I had to reset it. :-) Also a big shame that the iTunes software load several applications at boot up time on my Windows system. Even when I don't want to use the iTunes software. A real bummer from Apple.

I got/bought some audio books, but the most eyecatching feature, is showing videos on that tiny screen.

Old news
I've passed the exam, so now I am entitled to start working on my final paper, to get my second degree. Looking forward to do that - and finish than education.

The pain in my right knee appears to be more serious, so I have had to stop runnning regularly. :-(
I have become member of a local fitness center, and the exercises there are not so hard on my knee.

That right knee
Despite beeing very carefully, my right knee gives me some trouble. I have eased on the pace when running, but I will propably have to have the knee checked, as it keeps to be sore. I know that it takes 9-12 months for the joint to develop to a new level of training, so I must keep my ambitions to a do-able level.

SUCCES - Finally running
After some efforts, I am finally able to run the entire route without rests. I will try keep doing it 3 times weekly, and still be very carefull with my right knee.

Running
Recently I have build-up for running. I can almost run the entire route without having to stop and walk some of the time. Now it is the old damage in my right knee that keeps me from doing what I want to - Grrrr! Halfway through, I get some sharp pains. Clear signs to walk and stretch for a while. Anyway, by warming up carefully before running, and doing stretching exercises afterwards, it is getting better. Slow and gradual are the keywords. Anyway, I am happy that the LEFT knee doesn't complain.

Those new high-tech running shoes makes a HUGE difference. They cost €1+ per hour - when running, according to the person that measured me for them. That is cheap for saving my knees and ankles. And they are entry models!

Now, let me see what they have in walking boots. :-)

Too much work and worries
Today my body told me to take a rest. Woke up during the night with intense eye/head ache and I had to take the day off from work. Later in the morning, around 9, I tried to take a short nap, and woke up 4-5 hours later. That did the trick, and now I am feeling fine.

Garage
A few months ago, I requested for garage place to my car, assuming that I would get one in 1-3 years. I was offered one this week, in about 2 months. And it is ridiculously cheap - 5-10 times less than I expected. A brick-build garage, ventilated and locked. The only caveat, is that there are not electricity nearby.

I feel pretty tired. Haven't been running or biking for 3 days, due to execessive work, and because I have other obligations, I'll have to wait until Sunday or Monday.

I find this document from Ladies' Golf Union interesting: http://www.lgu.org/data/files/lgu_gender_policy.pdf

Old aunt
By mere chance, my sister-in-law discovered that my old aunt is terminally ill with cancer. Her family "forgot" to tell it to my brother and I, so we are disappointed.

Sponsoring a corset
Sponsoring a corset appears to take more effort than I expected. The rules, hows and whys needs to be made much clearer.

Old corsets
I found some old corsets when I was going through stuff and boxes. A friends suggested that I made some photos, and posted them. So I will do that, and see what the response is.

Will this ever end?

Exams are over
Exams for my "sparetime" studies are over. Two written exams and one oral exam. One of the censors, was the guy who wrote the text book on the subject, so I am pretty happy about the grade he gave me. Still, these studies take a lot of my time, so I will only take one course per semester in the future.

Yahoo
Yahoo deleted my profile without reason, explanation or warning. When I try to get them to explain why it was deleted, that can't explain, but only give a standard answer. Fair enough, Yahoo is free, albeit with ads. Seems that Yahoo accept and force people into dishonesty and fraud. Or maybe it is just me that is honest, which is becoming old-fashioned.

Studies
For once I am ahead in my studies, and it feels good. Still haven't received the complete requirements, which is very anoying, but I am preparing as best as I can, since I have to be away for other tasks and obligations.

It also feels good to train more regularly.

My hands
My hands are not made for the Scandinavian cold and my sometimes stressfull life. I got a heavy breakout of itching on my left hand. Would not mind a week, or two, vacation on the Canary Islands or Marocco. Just for the sun and my health of course.

Made a new minor software contract with a subcontractor for the public government. We are way ahead of "Big Brother" and "1984". I can now get an SMS on my Celluar about peoples movements, as if I cared.

I would like a longterm contract, so I could work from somewhere where the sun is shining most of the time, and I could run or bike for some hours each day.
